Celebrating our Year 1 Little Writers

To celebrate and close the unit “Pattern Book with One Idea”, our little writers from Year 1 English World shared their mini-books with their classmates, who where eager to listen to their classmates and to read their mini-books.

This time, the topic was “Birthdays” and Y1 little writers drew and labeled Birthday categories such as: cake, presents, guests, decoration, among others.

Later, in the company of Miss Camila Figueroa, Miss Estefi Giraldo and Miss Vera Callejas, they shared a delicious and special snack in order to celebrate that have finished their first mini-book.

Now, our Year 1 writers are ready to move to another unit, in which they will display all what they have learnt so far and some new strategies that will enrich their writing, vocabulary acquisition, imagination, autonomy, collaboration, and other fundamental skills.
